We believe that the Lord has placed within many believers a missionary heart and a desire to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, but has not given them the opportunity or led them to go abroad to satisfy this desire He has placed within them. The Lord has placed The Avenue Family Church in the Historic Northeast of Kansas City, an area of our city that has many ethnic, cultural, economic, religious and social differences with a small geographical area. It is world missions in our own backyard. We would like to give an invitation to those who need a place to let the gifts that the Lord has given them to be used to their fullest capacity. When we look around we see the fields are white for harvest, but we are lacking laborers. In other words, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
