We are a church family made up of people from ALL walks of life. We are a church of people, who are all sinners, working to share the love of Jesus everyday.
We are blessed to have an historic church building in Northeast Kansas City, and we want to invite you to what we do! We do simple church. No fancy programs. No big crazy schedules.
We Do Worship
At 10:30am, we being our Sunday morning church service with a time of friendly greeting and fellowship. At 10:40am our families participate in a time of praise.
After our time of praise and songs, we share what is taking place at Avenue Family Church and pray together. After our prayer, children under the age of five are welcome to attend our nursery. Children 1st grade to 5th grade are welcome to attend children’s church.
Adults will enjoy thorough expository teaching and preaching from the Bible. We provide Bible Study worksheets so you can keep notes and follow along with the message. It is our hope these study sheets will help you in your personal study of the Bible.
We place a high value on families worshiping the Lord and studying His Word together.
We Do Bible Study!
Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM we do Bible study for ALL ages. We have bible study groups for:
- Nursery: Ages infant to 5 years.
- Kids Ministry: 1st grade-5th grade
- Youth Ministry: 6th grade-12th grade
- Women’s Ministry
- Men’s Ministry
We gather in small groups to pray and share what the Holy Spirit has taught us through our study of the Word of God. We encourage everyone to bring their Bible and enjoy a time of sharing and praying as we encourage each other in the Study of God’s Word!
